Wang Lei, born in 1993 in Shangluo, Shaanxi Province, is a young scientific and technological innovation talent in Hanzhong, the first Hanjiang Scholar Full-time Professor Program of Shaanxi University of Technology, and a member of China Composite Materials Society. In 2016, he received the Bachelor's degree in polymer materials and engineering major from Northwestern Polytechnical University. In the same year, he was recommended for a master's degree in Northwestern Polytechnical University. In 2018, he obtained a doctoral degree in chemistry in 2022. In June 2022, he joined School of Chemistry and Environmental Science, Shaanxi University of Technology. He Mainly engaged in design and preparation of multifunctional (electromagnetic interference shielding, wave-absorption, thermal management, heat insulation and flame retardant, etc.) polymer composites. He has presided over 1 Youth Project of Shaanxi Natural Science Foundation, 1 Open Fund of Shanxi Key Laboratory of Nano-Functional Composite Materials and 1 Innovation Fund of Doctoral thesis of Northwestern Polytechnical University, and participated in 4 projects above provincial and ministerial level, such as Key project of National Natural Science Foundation, Youth Project of National Natural Science Foundation and Aerospace Science and Technology Fund. He has published 10 SCI papers as the first author (including the co-first author) in Nano-Micro Lett, Research, Carbon and Compos Part B-Eng journals, 4 ESI hot papers and 6 highly cited papers as the first author. The paper (Compos-Part B-Eng, 2019, 171: 111) has been selected as "The 100 Most Influential International Academic Papers in China" in 2019. The paper (J Mater Sci Technol, 2020, 52:119) has been selected as the "Top 5000 academic Papers of fine science and technology journals in China" in 2020 and the special prize of the JMST Excellent Paper Award in 2022. He also is the reviewers for journals such as Nano Res, J Mater Sci Technol and Compos Part B-Eng. The published papers have been cited more than 2900 times (H-index = 21). He attended 5 domestic and international conferences (oral presentations). Five national invention patents have been authorized.
